Res

En este ensamblaje confluyen elementos encontrados, que conforman un sistema hidráulico y sonoro, el cual se encuentra regulado por un loop de mi propio ciclo respiratorio, que fue grabado y almacenado dentro de la obra.
Res significa literalmente “cualquier animal”. Su forma de montaje y sus colores surgieron pensando en las medias reses, que cuelgan en mercados y carnicerías. En un intento de aproximarnos con la vida animal, propongo que todxs podemos ser cualquier animal, ese animal que cuelga del gancho, una res que aún respira.

In this assembly found elements converge, which make up a hydraulic and sound system, which is regulated by a loop of my own respiratory cycle. This was recorded and stored within the work. Res literally means “any animal”. Its way of assembly and its colors arose thinking of the half cattle, which hang in markets and butchers. In an attempt to approximate animal life, I propose that we can all be any animal, that animal that hangs from the hook, a beef that still breathes.
